Quick update. I don't know if you noticed but you can publish comments on any of the postings we put up. You'll see a comments link at the bottom of each posting. If you click on it and follow the directions it allows you to join this group. I found it a bit confusing because it asks you to create a google account and there are criteria on what constitutes a google account but if you kind of work through it mostly it makes sense.
Posting comments is a great way for Clint and Carrie to quickly see your support. It's also a nice way for you all to see all the support coming in from different people.

I am still trying to get my mind around the fact that just a few short hours ago, Alexander was laughing himself into breathlessness, and then he was attached to tubes running to and from machines and bags and last night he was lying on his back in a morphine/benedryl sleep...seemingly oblivious to his path, but his quaking body and quivering breath spoke otherwise.
ReplyDeleteThe medical team he has is pure grace. They are a wonderful example of how to be totally present to what is without getting caught in the drama.
What I have been thinking about a lot as I have been present in Alexander's journey how he won the hearts of so many people before he undertook this part of his path by being so joyful so easy to laughter, so open to what was around him. Maybe we all do what we need to do to draw in the people we need to be present at each life event. It is just that our illusion of time prevents us from seeing that simultaneity.
So Alexander I am present for you and you are teaching me. For both opportunities, I am grateful.
